Robert Darroch has a trial practice with a primary focus on insurance coverage issues (property, casualty & surety), bad faith/extra-contractual exposure, and complex litigation (class actions, construction defect litigation, etc.). His clients call upon him to draft policy and contract provisions, file declaratory judgment actions, and defend suits against them around the country.
Robert was raised in Tampa/St. Petersburg and Atlanta, Georgia and is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, as well as the Florida Bar. He attended Berry College, University of Heidelberg (Germany) and Emory University School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of Barristers. He is the author of two books on insurance coverage and dozens of magazine articles on insurance coverage and indemnity agreements. He has traveled throughout the United States speaking to insurers, risk managers, and lawyers on these issues, as well as on ethics and professionalism.
